Gata's Story
Translation for “cat”. Gata got her name because she strikes sexy, cat-like poses, her hair is always perfectly groomed and flows down to her calves.
Gata is known for the baddest custom outfits in the neighborhood, and when she walks in the room, everyone stairs as she moves cautious, graceful and observant through the crowed. A lot of the Homegirls say Gata can be stuck up, but she’s actually nice once you get to know her.
Gata is a clothing designer and owns her own small boutique store in the Fashion district with a clothing line called “Chulawear”. She learned to sew when she was real young from her mother who owned a small seamstress shop. She found her love for fashion by visiting second hand stores, fishing for treasures and garments to repurpose and turn them into beautiful one of a kind pieces. She always hooks the HomieGirls up with quince and wedding dress designs.
Gata is Hollywood’s main girlfriend. She only has eyes for him and puts up with the rumors of him dating other girls. She’s not bothered or threatened by the rumors because she knows she’s the catch and Hollywood ain’t goin’ nowhere!
Bouncy's Story
Bouncy is a lot of woman. She has large chi chi's and isn't afraid to accent them with tight halter tops and skimpy blouses. She is sexy in a fuerza kind of way. All of the Homies hit on her, but she is not interested because she prefers women over these dogs. The other Homies don't really know for sure what way she swings, so they keep hitting on her and don't understand why they can't ever get a chance. They think Bouncy is cool and she is one of the most Down HomieGirls, when situations pop off. Bouncy gets a lot of big boob jokes thrown at her, but she is proud of her body and that they are ALL NATURAL, and if they weren't...she'd still be proud! Pelon has a huge crush on her and thinks she is the ultimate beautiful chola and is infatuated with her. She thinks Pelon is cute but never gives him any play.

Shorty’s Story
A hot little club baddie with big hair, big lips and a big personality. Barely four feet ten inches tall, with a brick house body and a lot of sass. While not too bright when it comes to guys, she sure is tough, knows how to dress and has a whole lot of style. Shorty works with Gata at her fashion boutique in down in LA fashion district as her right-hand girl. They do pop-ups and design new merch together, always involved with the community and functions. Shorty gets around a lot, but only because she falls deeply in love with every cute guy she meets. All the Homi Girls try to warn her and roll their eyes every time she says, "her new fling is the one” but it's the same story she falls for the players with the smooth lines and nice cars every time.
Shorty’s heart is never broken too long, she keeps it moving in her black pumps, miniskirt...and all that sass!
Right Eye’s Story
her name was given to her by the HomieGirls because she is known for rolling up on the scene with her hair covering one eye.💅
She is very mysterious, sexy, and known as a coqueta…All the Homies are cool with her which has given her a reputation, but she pays it no mind. She moves how she wants and handles business. Right Eye grew up in a rough household with domestic violence as her example of love…Most don’t know, but she’s a survivor of an abusive relationship and has a scar over her left eye…a reminder of a past that she overcame. Her real ones know her story and respect the strength she has from overcoming it.
Right Eye has been doing good now and puts the Homie Girls up on game and tells them when they’re being pendejas! She’s a well-known model in the industry, which is her side hustle to help support her baby at home.
People have opinions on how she lives her life, but she lets them keep “assuming” on things they know nothing about…she just keeps doing her thang and GLOWIN.
La Negra's Story
Is beautifully dark-skinned Mixed Latina and black. She loves to wear black, so this is what the Homies have named her. La Negra is a hip-hop Rapper and is always bouncin' to music. Whenever she's at a party, she gets the Homies dancing. Her and Fly girl are usually together and grew up making dances at lunch time together in high school and duplicating MTV Music videos in their garage. This was before social media, so they used to do performances in their neighborhood for exposure. Quickly La Negra was known for her moves and started getting gigs for back-up dancing in music videos. She went on to become a top choreographer for some big videos in Hollywood but always stayed true to her roots and now helps Fly girl teach dance to youth in the neighborhood.
She's got beautiful curly hair that smell so good that you know she walked in the room without even seeing her. Her skin is smooth as butta, and she never has a blemish. She can do a full glam but kills it with the some lipliner and gloss... It's really all she needs.
Poca Ana’s Story
Poca Ana is the name given to her by the Homies. She has long braids of beauty because she is part Native. She loves the name because she is proud of her native heritage and because they are the only people in this country who aren't immigrants.
Within her, she carries the beauty and strength of her ancestors. She is known by the HomieGirls to give the best advice and helps her homegirls on their healing and spiritual journey. She’s also big into gardening and loves growing her own food. All her hair care items, and skincare is handmade, and many of the HomieGirls go to her for natural remedies. She knows how to heal everything!
She’s always down to roll to the car shows and rock her native beauty, loud and proud! She loves to wear her Chicana style clothes mixed in with her traditional native pieces.
Flaca’s Story
Flaca was given that nickname by the Homies, meaning "skinny". Flaca is "Old Schools" girlfriend, and they have been together since they were kids. Flaca never says anything mean about anyone. She's a sweetheart and always true to her man. She loves going on cruises in her man's old school bomb. Some of her favorite days are sitting in the garage and drinking a cold one and eating some tacos while she watches her man work on his car. The HomieGirls always get mad at her because they say she can eat all she wants, and it all just goes to her hair! She was self-conscious of it when she was younger, but now she owns it because she knows her man don't mind it. Plus, she looks good in everything!
She loves when the Homie Girls roll by her house and chill. Her favorite game is spades. The HomieGirls always say she cheats but she just laughs and eats her bag of chips.
Shy Girl's Story
Shy Girl is one of the original Homie Girls. She is quiet and painfully shy-she is pretty much all eyes and hair; always reading poetry with her big eyes and known for her soft voice singing oldies with a voice as smooth as silk.
BIG LOCO is her Vato, they are the Veteranos' of love. Shy girl has been with him through all his ups and downs, and she takes pride in being his peace. She’s never had much family so big LOCO has always been her everything.
Big Loco went through a lot in his early years and put her through it... and now, he puts her above everything. He finds comfort in her quietness and calmness. They know everything about each other.
Their favorite thing to do is cruise down the boulevard while Shy Girl sings the song “Angel Baby” Rumor has it- Big Loco and her communicate almost only through their senses, like body language, touch and facial expressions… they get each other and no one else matters.
All the other Homie Girls know they can tell their problems to Shy Girl, and she’ll never tell a soul… she doesn’t say much back, but the Homies Girls know she’s a real one and always loyal to the soil.
Baby Doll's Story
I’M EXACTLY THAT!- An angel-faced happy soul. Everything is “Awesome” and exciting to me. I love life, friends and familia. I stay loyal to my boyfriend LA PAZ who is my soulmate. I’m the silly one out of the Homie Girls, and I love to get everyone laughing till their faces hurt by saying all the “air headed” comments…just to make my Homies laugh.
The stuff the other Homie Girls do and say shocks me, but I love to hear all the chisme. My response to everything is “REALLY” and…. “NO WAY”. I carry a pink brush around everywhere I go and pull it out when I’m stressed out and listening to Homie Girl chisme.
I take so much pride in my long glossy and silky hair which is never out of place! My Home Girls say I have OCD, but I just say… “REALLY?!” and pay them no mind. I’ve never dyed it and Mi Abuelita is the only one who’s ever trimmed it.
I brush it about 100 times a day, doesn’t matter where I’m at… the club, a cookout, school or work, It is what it is…REALLY!
Fly Girls Story
Fly Girl is a super hip-hop dancer. She dances a lot in music videos and hopes to someday become a Laker Girl... she loves dance choreography and helps the Homie High School Cheerleaders keep their routines wild and original. The Homie High California High School have taken Southern California High School Cheerleading Championships two years in a row, and Fly girl is a big part of the reason why.
She was known in high school as the girl that would get down at the school rally's. You knew when she came out, it was going to go crazy. She knew how to dance every genre of music and would EAT and leave no crumbs when it came to her solos.
Boricua's Story
A Puerto Riquena Homie Girl. Her family is from the East Coast but has lived here since she was 12. She still talks with a Puerto Rican accent and the homeboys think she is sexy as hell. She has an eye for fashion design and works with Shorty and Gata on the line Chulawear. She is hooked up with P-Ric but flirts a lot with the other homeboys behind his back...even though she would never go out on him. She is an awesome dancer and gets small dance parts with Fly Girl in videos made by the Homie Record Label.
Boricua is known to be quick with her comebacks. If you argue with Boricua, just know you will argue all day... and she will win!
Mija's Story
Mija is sexy sophisticated, Independent HomieGirl who has more than just good looks and nice legs going for her. She is attending college with plans on becoming an attorney. She eventually hopes to work as a public defender and is determined to reach the goal so she can start helping some of her HomiesGirls out.
All the HomieGirls go to her when they need legal documents translated or help when it comes to court stuff. She is always patient and down to help her homegirls out.
